Hochschule RheinMain Teaches Modeling and Simulation in a Massive Open Online Course

The College of RheinMain’s new massive open online course (MOOC) Modeling and Simulation Using MATLAB teaches the modeling and simulation of systems. A multidisciplinary approach provides technical, economic, and theoretical knowledge perspectives on the topic. Knowledge modules include machine learning, business case modeling, control engineering, statistics, water treatment systems, knowledge management, digital signal processing, and image processing. Students understand that proficiency with MATLAB^® will help in their transition from the classroom to jobs in industry, and are very receptive to it.
