As an Application Support Engineer (f/m/d) based in our Munich office, you will help our customers solving complex technical issues related to MATLAB, Simulink and our entire suite of products. The list of applications includes Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Internet of Things, Model-Based Design, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, Physical Modeling, Embedded Code Generation and Rapid Prototyping.

As an entry level engineer, this role will help you identify and develop your technical, professional, and personal skills for a successful career at MathWorks. In short, it is a combination of practical experience and formal training in an international work environment that fosters and rewards cooperation, teamwork, learning, and fun.

Mission

You will support our German speaking customers to be successful in using MATLAB, Simulink and our entire suite of products. As part of this, you will be resolving in-depth and complex customer reported issues in a wide area of domains, applications, industries - including latest technology trends.

Key to success is collaboration and teamwork with other engineers, specialists and domain experts in the global MathWorks organization. In addition to your technical and troubleshooting skills, an important aspect of this role is communication with internal and external parties.

Your direct contact with customers will be very valuable for providing user feedback to our Development organization. You will contribute to the continuous improvement of our products by sharing these use cases with Product Development teams. Understanding how our customers are using MATLAB and Simulink will give you a strong foundation in our business and technologies enabling you to grow your career within MathWorks.

Qualifications minimales

  • A bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree, or equivalent experience) is required.

This position requires a passion for continuous learning and professional development, so you must be very motivated and love to learn. MathWorks has a passion for lifelong learning and career growth. We also require:

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or related programs
  • Experience of working with MATLAB and at least one other programming language (C/C++, Python, Java, JavaScript)
  • Excellent German and English language skills are required (written and verbal) on at least C1 level or equivalent
