We are seeking a technical expert to shape the way companies develop robotic and autonomous systems through Technical Computing and Model-Based Design.

Leveraging your industry experience and technical expertise, you'll provide customized solutions and offer sound recommendations to enhance customers' development cycles using MathWorks solutions. You will spend most of your time collaborating closely with key customers who develop models for robotics, automated driving and other autonomous systems including perception, sensor fusion, control, and situational analysis algorithm design.

As a pre-sales engineer, you will partner with sales representatives and play a key role in understanding customers' workflows, uncovering technical and business obstacles in their processes, building convincing proofs-of-concept, and driving technical engagements.

Through these efforts, you will contribute to how the industry and customers perceive MathWorks and champion the impact of industry trends on MathWorks product development plans.

Mission

  • Lead engagement with key companies, researchers, and influencers in the robotics, automated driving, and autonomous systems segments.
  • Deeply engage with and establish strong relationships with key customers.
  • Define and drive proof-of-concept projects.
  • Establish technical procedures and project roadmaps to solve complex deployment problems.
  • Collaborate directly with sales teams to identify sales and product adoption opportunities.
  • Work closely with development teams to drive product enhancements.

Qualifications minimales

  • A bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree, or equivalent experience) is required.

Qualifications supplémentaires

  • Strong knowledge of and experience (7+ years) in robotics and autonomous systems development, including one or more of the following areas: autonomous or automated driving, sensor and data fusion algorithms, embedded camera systems, vision processing, and system-level verification and validation.
  • Experience with MathWorks products (MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow) or other tools such as PreScan, CANape Driver Assistance, RT Maps, IPG CarMaker, ROS.
  • Experience and motivation in supporting sales and engaging with customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence internal development processes.
  • Flexibility to work on multiple projects and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25-40% of the time.
