Array Catalog
Arrays are several antennas connected and arranged in a regular structure to form a single antenna. Arrays produce radiation patterns, which when combined have characteristics that individual antenna radiation patterns cannot produce.
The array catalog offers objects and functions for design, analysis, and
visualization of predefined finite and infinite array layouts. It also
provides objects for creating arrays using planar mesh modeling and boundary
point definitions. Using built-in analysis functions, analyze and visualize
array performance, including array factor, mutual coupling, embedded element
pattern, pattern multiplication, and more. Create an array by specifying
elements that resonate at a specified frequency by using the
design
function.
Integrate these antenna arrays into RF systems using the Antenna (RF Blockset) block. Use these antenna arrays as transmitters and receivers in a satellite scenario (Satellite Communications Toolbox).
