Ast.TypeDefinition Class
Namespace: Ast
Superclasses: AstNodeProperties
Represents the type_definition nodes in the syntax tree of your code
Since R2026a
Description
The PQL class TypeDefinition represents the node type_definition in the syntax tree of your code.
Predicates
| Type | Raisable | Printable |
|---|---|---|
TypeDefinition
| Yes | No |
This class defines these predicates that act on the objects of this class. In addition, objects of this class can access the predicates defined by the base class AstNodeProperties. An object of this class is an object of AstNodeProperties class.
| Predicates | Description | Example |

is(TypeDefinition &typeDef)
| The Example C++ code: typedef const int MyInt; Corresponding tree-sitter node (in snake_case): (type_definition (type_qualifier) ; e.g. 'const' (type_identifier) ; e.g. 'int' (declarator) ; e.g. 'MyInt' ) The | This example demonstrates using the
typedef int MyInt; typedef const int MyConstInt; using MyDouble = double; // using-alias (may or may not be represented as TypeDefinition depending on parser)
