Use dielectric and DielectricCatalog to choose different dielectric substrates and control the relative permittivity, permeability, and loss tangent of the substrate. The type of dielectric substrate you use has an impact on the size, port, surface, volume, and field properties of the printed circuit board (PCB) components. Selection of dielectric material impacts the performance of multilayer PCB. You can design PCBs with single or multilayer substrates.
