Calling
ellipjfor numbers that are not symbolic objects invokes the MATLAB®ellipjfunction. This function accepts only0 <= m <= 1. To compute the Jacobi elliptic functions for values out of this range, usesymorvpato convert the numbers to symbolic objects, and then callellipjfor those symbolic objects. Alternatively, use thejacobiSN,jacobiCN, andjacobiDNfunctions to compute the elliptic functions separately. For most symbolic (exact) numbers,
ellipjreturns results using thejacobiSN,jacobiCN, andjacobiDNfunctions. You can approximate such results with floating-point numbers usingvpa.
