can we find out the difference between two histogram , if yes then how ?

i use imhist(file_name) command to display histogram of two different images, now i want to see the difference between them, in my case its looks almost similar in picture, so how can i see the difference between them

If you just want to know the difference in values, then go for

a=imread('image1'); b=imread('image2'); c=imhist(a); d=imhist(b); z=c-d;
