In the right top corner of your editor windows, look for Dock Editor or Undock Editor

Go to the home tab (left upper corner), then click on layout and default

You can click on the title bar for either the Editor or the Command Window and drag it to where you want that desktop component to be. Once you've set up your Desktop the way you want, you can save it using the Layout item on the Home tab of the toolstrip. If your layout changes and you want to restore your saved layout, it will be available via that same Layout item.
