Cloud Computing and Virtualization

I want to prepare a testbed for implementing resource management algorithms in a cloud environment. Providing a pool of resources,in this testbed resources are going to be assigned virtually to the tasks.Is it possible to do it in MATLAB, if so, which toolbox could help?

Have you taken a look at Simulink/Stateflow/SimEvents? We used them to model a system that was designed to throttle the loads on some equipment and it worked well for that.
