is there any function which replaces the function imwrite under matlab for .dm3 images?

Hi;

I have a .dm3 images I read them but after applied some processing I want to write them under a

specific file I usually use imwrite instruction but the problem this time is that my data are .dm3

how can I stock them? I appreciate any answers
