Define a and b as scalars a = 3 and b = 4, and x as the vector x = −3,−2.8,−2.6,··· ,1.6,1.8,2. Then use these variables to calculate y by y = 8((a^2)/(x^2 + b^2)) .

b = 4;
x = -3:0.2:2;
y = 8*(a^2)./(x.^2+b^2);
