Deploytool C++ shared library

Hello

I have created my own GUI and I know how to create a stand-alone application using deploytool. I just wanted to know what are the C++ shared libraries and how can the dll and lib files be used to run the same application (GUI) from Visual studio 2008. Is there a step by step procedure where I can read about it. Am new to MATLAB and any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

To know about needed libraries, on MS Windows I recommend that you use dependency walker
