I used Matlab a long time ago in college and really dont remember much about it. Im trying to solve and engineering dynamics problem but have no clue how to start or do it. Can anyone help me out. Thanks in advance.
The Problem is:
The masses ma= 15kg and mb= 30kg, and the coefficients of friction between all of the surfaces are Us= 0.4 and Uk= 0.35. The blocks are stationary when the constant force F is applied. Determine the resulting acceleration of block B if A) F= 200N , B) F= 400N

What have you done to solve your problem?
It looks pretty straight forward: you know Newton's second Law, the masses, the forces, and equation for friction given a normal force. Set it up and solve it...

1. Please complete the following tutorial:
2. Try to set up and solve the problem in MATLAB.
3. If you get stuck, please post specific questions to this forum.
