How do I run a silent install for MCR release 2012a (7.17)?

I am running on Windows Server 2008R2 and am unable to run this installation in silent mode. I used the syntax below for version 2011a but it no longer applies:

MCRInstaller.exe /s /v"/qn"

I should have specified that I wanted to automate this installation. I can see that the MCRInstaller.exe extracts to temp folder with the setup.exe, but I do not see that there is a way to both extract the files and run the setup with automation.
