What is replacement of initff function of older version?

I am trying to run a file which is using function (initff) but this function is not defined in current version.

Does any one know what is this function for and what is the new function in current version??

I don't think initff was ever a Matlab function; I suspect you need to get it from the author/source of the other function that calls it.
