Matlab 2014a: Licensing error: -7,10015

Why do I get the following Licensing error: -7,10015 when I start Matlab R2014a? The License manager has been updated as it was necessary. It has version number 11.11.1.2 build 134011.

I run a concurrent networked license server, which does not have Matlab installed locally. Users also had this error even though my Linux based license server was running flexlm version 11.12, which is higher than the 11.11 required for R2014a. However I had not upgraded the MLM daemon, which was working with R2013b. Doing so solved the problem.

I'm having the same issue, but with r2015a. I have the same version of Flexnet as well. Did you get an answer on this?
