how to evaluate maximum of canonical coefficient in cca

[wx, wy, r, u, v]=canoncorr(X,Y);

i have to evaluate sigma max from the above outputs. ps i dont know much about cca. i tried to evaluate from following equation but getting error

i have

X=>256x62

Y=>256x4

[mausam]

i am also not sure if my wx and wy are the same as of the equation
