How to give the selected image as an input of .m file selected after pressing the Check box in GUI ?

I have selected an image using pushbutton1 and this has to be given as the input to my .m file . This .m file is called using checkbox1. 1)Now to make my .m file to get executed , how should I give the selected image as input to the .m file? 2)Also the .m file output results like output images and PSNR values has to be displayed. Thanks in advance.
