Which was the first version of Matlab in which a timeout can be specified in urlread?

Does anyone know from which version of Matlab a time-out can be specified in the urlread command using the "Timeout" option? It is definitely present in Matlab 2013a, but I would like to write a code which can run on earlier versions of Matlab as well, and I would like to check for the version and depending on the version have two different calls to urlread.
