Why is a Question Closed?

I'm curious why this question is closed. A reason is given when a question, answer, or comment is flagged. Is that not the case when a question is closed?

A reason is printed above your question.

All I see is box that says:
“Info
This question is closed. Reopen it to edit or answer.”
Am I missing something?

You don't see this as a second line in that box?
Closure Reason: Not appropriate for MATLAB Answers - Be serious This is not a question about MATLAB. Answers is not a homework solving service.

No. I do not. But that would explain my confusion.
I see this same image on Edge on Win10 and on Safari on mobile.
This wasn't my question and I don't really care, but FWIW, it seems to me that lots of questions could be closed for this very reason, and maybe they are but this is the very first time I've actually run across a question that is closed (is that the same as locked?) so my curiosity was piqued.
