Plot a CFD grid exported from CFD software

Dear all,

I'd like to make my CFD post-processing in Matlab. To do so, I export in ASCII format some data and make a contour plot. It works well.

But now i'd like to hold on, so plot in a same figure, both the contour plot and the CFD grid exported from a commercial CFD software. The plot should be 2D i.e only a plane of the CFD domain.

Do you have any useful links or advices?

Here are the flow variables computed at each nodes of the CFD domain, the variables are:

-node Number;

-(x,y,z)-coordinates;

-velocity field

Unfortunetly the mesh is too big to bu uploaded as i can only export the whole mesh instead of the mesh for the plane in which data have been extracted.
