When will MATLAB dump its Java dependencies?

The latest Java updates have broken MATLAB. As just one example, the lag is unreal when using the MATLAB editor.
Oracle support for Java is awful.
Does MATLAB have a timeline to remove all Java dependencies?

There was a bug in a previous version in 2021. It appears to have been fixed since then.

The Release Notes for release R2021a state "Java® packages and subpackages that currently ship with MATLAB will not be available in MATLAB in a future release." but does not state a timeline for when those packages and subpackages will no longer be available.
