non blocking error when running a matlab executable

Dear madam/sir,
I have an error popping up when running an executable and I have no idea what the cause is of this error and/or how to fix the problem. I searched on the internet for a while, but I do not find a description of someone with the same problem. Therefore, I hope that someone who reads this has any idea what this error is about and how to fix it.
To do some calculations, we have some matlab code compiled as an executable and are running this executable for over more than 1 year now without non-explainable errors. Since a few weeks, some users of this executable (not all of them, which makes it very hard to debug as I as a developer does not have this error), get an error when using the executable (see attachment): "An error occurred while executing C:\...\IPM.exe Overflow Please Ensure the path is correct" (IPM.exe is the name of the executable). I checked the path and the path is correct. Luckily, this error is not blocking: input data is read in, the calculations happen and output data is written back to disk. However, it is a very annoying error which I want to get rid of.
Has anyone an idea why this error pops up suddenly and what it is about?
Thank you very much already for your time/effort.
