is there a codes or functions to run artificial regression?

Hey everybody, my problem is the following: I want to use the artificial regression approach to estimate a regression in economics field and I am asking if there are ready codes or functions in matlab. Is the procedure of artificial regression equal to the ivreg in stata? If there as a simple documentation about how to apply the artificial regression I will be grateful. many thanks in advance
