Contour plot using GPU computing

I want to draw contour plot (with a lot of data).
It’s heavy for the computer’s RAM (I have 32Gb) , but then I saw that I can draw it using GPU computing:
I don't understand how to use the GPU computing with contour.

Hi!
If you have Parllel Computing Toolbox, you can use gpuArray to store your data in the GPU memory, and since countour functions support gpuArray objects you can now passe data to contour function!
% Example
data = gpuArray(magic(1000))
contour(data)
Hope this helps

Hi !
Thanks for the asnwer.
I tried what you suggested and I don't see that I'm using GPU for it.
you can try :
% Example
data = gpuArray(magic(10000))
contour(data)
and see that your RAM start to fill up

Although you can plot gpuArray data directly as you mention, but as noted in the contour reference page, the function doesn't run on the GPU - it is provided simply as a convenience.

Thanks !
So in contour I cannot use GPU memory?
