Warning: Unable to interpret TeX string ?

When I add text to a figure, the following warning is displayed:
Warning: Unable to interpret TeX string "c:\temp\data.txt"
Here is the code:
DataFileName='c:\temp\data.txt'
figure
title(DataFileName)
The File name is displayed correctly - the only problem are the pesky wraning indications! What technique should be utilized to avoid the warnings?
Thanks in advance!

In this case, you can do
DataFileName='c:\temp\data.txt';
figure
title(DataFileName,'interpreter','none')

Wayne,
Thanks for your answer! The question was actually directed toward the "annotation('textbox'... )" function. Your answer solved my problem.
