Fixedpoint Tool Invalid Run ID Error
Afficher commentaires plus anciens
Hello I am using Matlab 2022b version. I am trying to convert my floating point design to fixed point using iterative fixed point conversion. I have followed the conversion flow up until simulating with embbeded types. When I click on compare results I get Invalid Run ID. Diagnostic viewer at simulink doesnt show any information about this error. How can I solve this error? I am stucked at this step.
Please see the picture below for reference.

Hi Mehmet,
Thank you for your inquiry. I am a developer on the fixed-point designer team, and I would like to further investigate this issue.
It is frustrating to encounter such an uninformative error message. However, we have tried to reproduce this issue, and have been unable to do so. In order to help you further, we need the following:
- The model that you tried to convert. If you are unable to share this model, another model which demonstrates this issue would be fine as well.
- A detailed list of steps used for fixed-point conversion. This should include the following:
a. The signals logged in the model (if you save the model for sharing, this should be saved)
b. Any tolerances set in the "Prepare" stage
c. A list of actions taken in the app. If you simply followed a documentation page and clicked the UI buttons as suggested, it is sufficient to link to this.
If you are not comfortable sharing the steps on this page, please feel free to contact technical support as Drew suggested. The development team can collaborate with them to bring this to resolution.
Again, thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. We look forward to hearing from you so that we can investigate this issue further.
Sincerely,
Jim Joy
