Parallel Computing Toolbox: Client/Server Compatibility?

Is a client/server version compatibility matrix documented for the PCT? Which versions of the PCT client are compatible with which versions of the MATLAB Distributed Computing Server?

Specifically, I am running R2012a on my laptop and my school's computing server is at version R2014a. Is this client/server combination compatible?

If I upgrade my laptop to the latest R2015a and the computing grid stays at R2014a, then is this combination compatible?

The compatibility matrix is the identity matrix - i.e. PCT version must match MDCE version. This is mentioned in the MDCE release notes for each version.
