Exporing details from hunders of Dicom folders to excel at once

I need to go over a folder with hunderds of dicom folders ( by 'dicom folder' I mean that each folder contains the images of another patient), and exprot details to excel. The ultimate goal is creating an excel file which contains some details of each patient. For instance his age, birthday and so on.. I'll ask you also to mention what the different will be rather the excel file is totaly empty or already partial filled.
