Time Interval used by MATLAB streamline function

So, from what I understand, MATLAB's streamline function makes use of Euler's Method to formulate streamlines. However, at least for first order Euler's Method, this requires some form of time interval. Would it be possible to vary that time interval? And if not (Or I'm understanding it wrong), why not?
