What is this Simulink Block With an arrow Sign on it?

I wan constructing a Simulink model from a pdf document when I came across a block with an arrow in it. (Image is attached; MEAN BLOCK) This block is not a part of Simulink Library? I wanna ask is it a user defined block or is it a subsystem?

Abid, this is a masked subsystem. Click on the down arrow in the lower right corner of the block to open up the subsytem.

How to disable this down arrow but still look under mask?
