Can I run online a version different from the latest?

Something does not work. It used to work with an older Matlab. Can I test it online (matlab.mathworks.com)?

I don't think you can select an earlier Matlab version in Matlab Online.

That is really unfortunate, given that it is impossible to go back to a sane version of MATLAB when something is broken (as it is now). Now I have to explain to the students that Mathworks broke the help files, instead of being able to direct them to use a working version.

It is unfortunate. But do you not have a site license? You know you don't have to discard an old version of Matlab when you get a new one, right?

There are two issues: The students use either the university provided desktop version, or the version in the cloud. At this point they are identically set to the latest, and I have no control over that.

Well, maybe you can present the issue, with code and error messages, so that we can try to see what is not working.
