Our Self-Paced Online Courses gives you access to three types of training:
  • Onramps: Short introductory courses that teach core concepts. These are free and available to everyone.
  • Courses: Training of varying length and skill level. These require an Online Training Suite (OTS) subscription.
  • Learning Paths: Curated collections of courses designed to build proficiency in a specific topic or workflow. These also require an OTS subscription.
Each course and learning path includes a Recommended Prerequisites section to help you determine the background knowledge needed for success.
Getting Started:
If you are new to MATLAB, start with MATLAB Onramp.
If you are new to Simulink, start with MATLAB Onramp, followed by Simulink Onramp.
MATLAB Workflows
To build your foundational MATLAB skills, complete MATLAB Onramp and then continue with either:
Once you know the basics, you can explore additional self-paced MATLAB Courses and Learning Paths focused on specific applications and domains.
Simulink Workflows:
To build your foundational Simulink skills, complete the MATLAB Onramp and Simulink Onramp, then continue with the Build Simulink Proficiency learning path.
You can then continue with domain-specific training, such as Simscape Onramp for physical modeling or Control Design Onramp with Simulink, or explore additional Simulink Courses and Learning Paths.
