How to track an object from a 3D tiff images?

Dear all,

I have tiff image sequences generated from a confocal microscope of X,Y,Z. I would like to track one object (nucleus) that moves over the time in the X,Y,Z direction. Does anyone knows how to track such a moving object from those tiff images (8 bit gray scale)?

Any suggestion is welcome.
