Unexpected matlab expression???? How to Solve???? - URGENT!!!!!

Having trouble with the following expression... It was taken directly from a reference book for MATLAB...

y = @m sqrt(9.81*m/0.25)*tanh(sqrt(9.81*0.25/m)*4)-36;

Kindly please help!!!!
