Exchange data between two simulink simulations in real time both running in different mode (External/Normal)

I want the output from a model running in external mode as an input for other model running in normal mode in real time.

I tried Model feature of Simulink but in that both models should be running in same mode.

So Is there any method to exchange data among two models running in different mode?

Please help
