Petrel interface for Matlab getNode coordinate transformation
Afficher commentaires plus anciens
I've recently began using the 2015 Matlab interface for Petrel 2014. When using the getNode command and others it seems that Matlab does a coordinate transformation of the X and Y points for my Petrel surface that is different from my Petrel CRS (NAD27 PA North). What CRS does Matlab transform the surface to? Is there a way to keep my native Petrel CRS when loading into Matlab using getNode?

Hi Travis,
I am the developer of the MATLAB Support Package for Petrel. Petrel.getNode returns the data that is stored internally by Petrel. The stored data may have different units than those displayed in Petrel if the original data was imported with different units.
I would be interested in getting a sample of your data. I may be able to remove the limitation in a future release. Please contact me directly for further questions.
