Simulink Buffer Signal Without DSP System Toolbox

Hello Everyone, I was wondering if there was a more manual process to buffer/unbuffer a signal without making use of the Buffer block from the DSP system toolbox? I do currently have the DSP system toolbox, but I would like to make my model flexible for colleagues who may not necessarily possess the same toolboxes as me. Does anyone know of a way to accomplish this? I would also like for this to be flexible for hardware deployment in the future, though that's not 100% necessary.
