Fixed symbol inside edit text

hi everyone. i would to know if it is possible to insert a fixed symbol inside an edit text. this symbol must remain (it must be non-erasable) even when i digit something.
example:

i would to insert new values on the left and on the right of the '-'

You could make two edit text boxes with a static text box in the middle. Callback handling could automatically switch focus from the left box to the right box after a certain number of characters is entered. I tested this out in GUIDE and it looked reasonably good.
I'm not aware of a built-in way to fix a character within an edit text box.
