MATLAB Software License Query

How should I buy MATLAB?.Since I am 17, I don't have a credit card. Will I be able to use MATLAB in Canada if my parents buy it with their credit card in India? While purchasing,the address where the software will be used is set to India when they try to purchase it.I would be glad if someone could tell me if it will work for me in Canada.

If you are a student, there is a possibility to get STUDENT LICENSE of Matlab. That might be economical. Please check it on the internet or ask your Prof.
