Plotting Large arrays

I have a 10000X10000 array. My system has a 3GB RAM. Computations on this array happen fast, but when i try to plot these arrays the system hangs or doesnt respond.Any tricks / suggestions to circumvent this problem?

Please post the method you use for plotting. It matters if you use LINE, PLOT, PATCH or SURFACE.

Hi Barathwaj,
You can increase the Java heap memory in MATLAB preferences under Java Heap Memoery tab collapsed under General tab.
Additionally, assuming the array represents a dataset with each row representing a new entry, you can consider processing array in smaller batches and visualize results separately.
