converting a "MATLAB Class" to "mex"

Hello,
Is it possible to covert (compile) a MATLAB class (with several functions and properties) to a mex format to speed up the simulation time.
FYI, I know that how to put a class in MATLAB function and compile it. That is not what I am looking for because I want to access class functions and run them while I change their properties.

Which MATLAB release are you using? The performance of classes should have increased notably in R2015b.
