Matlab files missing during installation

When I try booting Matlab it gives of multiple Warnings stating that functions have the same name as a Matlab builtin. Hence I am unable to run any functions or commands like "clc", "pi" or "clear". Furthermore, I can only quit Matlab with Task Manager, as when I click the red X it displays an error in the Command Window.
I have deleted Matlab and re-installed it completely, the errors do not go away.

Example of Warning message when starting up: "Warning: Function ssc_reserved has the same name as a MATLAB builtin. We suggest you rename the function to avoid a potential name conflict." There are MANY such warnings.
When quitting it outputs: "Attempt to execute SCRIPT which as a function: D:\\toolbox\matlab\general\which.m
Attempt to execute SCRIPT builtin as a function: D:\\toolbox\matlab\lang\builtin.m"

I am trying to install the latest Matlab 2020a. During different moments of the installation process (downloading component files) the installer app suddenly breaks with "missing file" error. This is very frustrating as I have 44GB to download.

Delete previous Matlab files and make sure that the installation goes to /MATLAB/R2015b or similar.
As Matlab support put it: "This error can happen if MATLAB is installed into the root of a drive and outside of a containing folder. You can create a new folder and move the installation into that folder or reinstall into a new folder after removing the old files."

Please contact Mathworks for free installation support. People do report this problem from time to time but no-one has returned afterwards to say what the problem turned out to be.
