histogram x axis property

Hi

I have time histogram. My time is from 01/01/1962 to 01/01/2016. Hist is giving 10 automatic binning graph. I need hist for every 2 years, 3 years, 4 years... in seperated graph. Such as I did nbins=20. hist(time,nbins). I have got kind of expected result, but not certain. Is there any way to do histogram for every n years(n=2,3,4....).

Use histogram() or histcounts() and supply the "edges" argument. If you have an obsolete version of MATLAB, you can try the old histc() function.
