Filter coefficient calculation???

Hi all,

I am trying to devlop an equalizer for that I am using different filter combinations. In that I need Filter coefficient (numerator-b,denominator-a) calculation formulae's for first and second order Lowpass filter, Highpass filter and notch filter.

What have you tried so far and which problems occur? The question does not contain enough inputs to be answered uniquely. Perhaps you want a 2nd order Butterworth filter, perhaps you don't.

Hi Jan Simon, I am trying to calculate filter coefficients without using matlab comments based on tunable parameters like Gain, Cut off frequency and Quality factor. After calculating filter coefficients I will pass this coefficients to the Biquad filter block. there I will process filtering.

Is there any posiblity to use Biquad filter block for first order filter by setting a2 and b2 coefficients by zero.
