How to send messages from one matlab session to another running on the same computer, preferably using UDP

I am running two matlab sessions on the same computer Windows 10 64bit I have to send a message from one session to another. Both the sessions are running on the same computer. I am connected via a secure wifi connection of my university (can't use TCP/IP possibly) I have already tried the judp() file provided in the file exchange. It does not work There has to be some way around using localhost localport etc.

If you have Instrument Control Toolbox then it has udp() built in. Otherwise see the tcpudpip File Exchange Contribution.

Yes, it would be really helpful if you can share the solution. I'm using judp but there problem with that is the socket is never closed hence the next time i run the program it gives me address already in use error
