Multipart encoding with matlab

I would like to have an equivalent of the following python code in matlab to send files to a server:

import requests

url = 'http://sol.synchrotron.org.au/elog/api/upload'
files = {'file': open('/path/to/your/file', 'rb')}
response = requests.post(url, files=files)
print(response.json())

Is this possible with webwrite or something native to Matlab? I'm currently only using urlreadpost.m from the file exchange.
