Exporting specific elements alone from a text file

A text file of mine looks like this. I want to export all the numbers under the 8th (AOI Name), 18th (Fixation start) and 20th (Fixation end) columns. Can anyone suggest me a function that would help in this case with an example if possible?

PS: I think dlmread cannot be used since it expects only numeric data.

If the file has a fixed column-structure, with mixed string and numeric data, then you can use textscan to select particular columns and read them into MATLAB.
