Fourier mellin image registration

hi guys,

actually my aim is to make a registration between two images using

fourier mellin transform. I'm going to use the following code :

I only happen to know two people who are familiar with image registration. One of the two will not be available until 2013, but the other (quite experienced) one will be available as a (paid) consultant as of July 2012. I have no idea what rate they charge.
